Psychiatrist

I am a medical psychiatrist, with a degree and master's degree in Medicine from Universidade Nova de Lisboa, with specific training in Adult Psychiatry at the Prof. Doutor Fernando Fonseca Hospital, EPE. I have led international initiatives in London, at St. John's Hospital, and at the University of London. I also specialize in Neuropsychopharmacology. I have a specialization in Neurodevelopment.

I am particularly interested in the intersections between mental health and other fields—such as Psychology, Psychogeriatrics, Neurodevelopment, Neuropsychiatry, and Women's Health. I advocate for a humanistic, informed, and prejudice-free clinical practice, centered on each person's dignity, autonomy, and right to information.
I have dedicated myself to the field of Neurodevelopment, especially Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Autism Spectrum Disorder in adults. I regularly conduct workshops and training on ADHD, with special attention to its expression in women.
