Parental Counselling

Parenting is one of the most demanding tasks an adult can undertake.
A great deal of information is available today, but for many parents, this abundance becomes overwhelming and difficult to translate into practical action.
Even so, it does not have to be a solitary journey, nor one lived in constant exhaustion.

Parental Counselling

At our clinic, parental counselling is provided by a clinical psychologist and serves as both a technical and empathetic resource.
Its focus is not to point out shortcomings, but rather to offer a new perspective on children's behaviour and on caregivers' own reactions.
By understanding the child's needs and structuring more mindful responses, the family finds a new sense of balance.

What is the role of parental counselling?

Parenting is a complex and ongoing challenge. Parental counselling aims to:

  • Validate caregivers' emotions and difficulties.

  • Understand the underlying causes of the child's behaviour.

  • Develop personalised strategies for each family dynamic.

What are the benefits?

The process promotes sustainable change:

  • Stress Reduction: Replaces reactivity with effective communication.

  • Parental Confidence: Provides clarity in managing boundaries and routines.

  • Connection: Strengthens the bond and mutual trust.

  • Emotional Health: Supports the child's healthy development.

How is the support structured?

Support can be provided through individual sessions (1h15) or a 3-Session Package:

  • Session 1 – Assessment: Analysis of family history and introduction of initial tools.

  • Session 2 – Intervention: Reassessment of strategies and further development of tools.

  • Session 3 – Consolidation: Final feedback and practical guidance for the future.
